CHAIR OF THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF CONSTRUCTION OF DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN  The chair was created in 1999 and the
head of the chair is the candidate of philosophical sciences, assistant professor
G.Z.Tulenova. The collective of chair consists of 5 candidates of sciences, 4 assistant
professor, 6 senior teachers and 2 junior members of teaching staff.
The chair is closely connected with a great number of scientific and research institutes of republic, such as Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of sciences of Republic of Uzbekistan, Institute of the History, National University, the Tashkent Juridical Institute, pedagogical University named after Nazimi, Samarkand State University, Nukus State University. Teachers of the chair have friendly contacts with various funds working in Uzbekistan. Such as: "Ustoz", " Fund of assistance to education development (Institute Open Society Soros Fund), Tempus, Tasis, the French Cultural centre named after Victor Gjugo, the Centre of spirituality and enlightenment of city of Tashkent. All teachers take an active part in the international and republican scientific conferences. Each year chair of the theory and practice of construction of democratic society of the republic of Uzbekistan hold scientific seminars inviting philosophers and historians. Teachers of the chair are reading the following disciplines:
Each year teachers publish articles in local and a foreign press. The total number of published production is about 25-30 pcs per year. Main problems of the chair are formation of social activity of youth, their education according to the best national traditions.
