The faculty provides training for bachelors in two specialities and for masters in three directions. Specialists in radio communication and radio broadcasting and television are prepared to work at enterprises and organisations engaged in development, designing and operating radio communication, radio broadcasting and television devices and systems.

“Mobile systems of communications” provides following directions of studying - Designing and technological operation of systems and devices of mobile radio communication.

The first bachelors from "Radio engineering" direction will graduate the University in 2004. It is expected to prepare specialists for development and research of communications devices, for transmission and radio signals processing systems.
