The Chair was organised September, 1, 1970. The chief of the chair is candidate of sciences, assistant professors, master of communications and the honourable radio operator Ibraimov Refat Rafikivoch. The chair prepares bachelors, masters and high-qualified experts for microwave, satellite and mobile communication systems. The chair has two educational and one research laboratory. Main scientific research directions are low channel specialised communication systems and a problem of transition to the third generation of cellular systems

On all readable disciplines there a great number of technical literature and technical summaries. The chair is connected to the local computer network and to the Internet.
