CHAIR OF POWER SUPPLY FOR TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT  The chair was organised in 1958. The
heads of the chair were candidate of sciences, assistant professor Korotkevich V.E.
(1958-1965), candidate of sciences, assistant professor Golovin N.P. (1965-1975),
candidate of sciences, assistant professor Kopnin Y.I (1975-1985), candidate of sciences,
assistant professor Kildeev I.A. (1986-2001). And since August 2002 the head of the chair
is candidate of sciences, assistant professor Mahkamdzhanov B.M.
Now the chair consists of following staff: 11 teachers, 1 chief of the laboratory and 5 laboratory assistants. There are following laboratories available in the chair
Teachers of the chair are reading the following disciplines:
Practical and laboratory lessons are carried out in above-mentioned disciplines. A great number of methodical and scientific researches are conducted, and also questions of new educational process, such as remote and virtual education, are discussed in the chair. All teachers of “power supply for telecommunication equipment” chair always take part in scientific-methodical and scientific-technical conferences. Summaries of above-mentioned lectures were also published. Under the supervision of candidate of sciences, assistant professors Mahkamdzhanov B.M a lot of researches in the field of the non-conventional and renewed energy sources are conducted.
